Festival für globale Musik
Das Water & Sound Festival lockt seit vielen Jahren im Sommer zahlreiche Besucher*innen aus der Region in den Annahof. Mit hochkarätigen Konzerten der globalen Musik, lokalen Acts und Ständen lokaler Akteur*innen mit leckeren Speisen und Informationen ist das Festival seit jeher ein besonderer Begegnungsort für die Stadtgesellschaft zum Entdecken, Feiern und Verweilen. Die Konzerte im Annahof am 1. und 2. August mit Musik aus u. a. Brasilien, Spanien, Marokko und Somaliland sind der Abschluss der Festivalwoche von Water & Sound 2025 (25. Juli – 2. August 2025), die dazu einlädt sich auf eine musikalische Reise entlang
der Flüsse der Welt zu begeben. Vom mächtigen Amazonas bis zum heiligen Ganges, von der Donau bis zu den Quellen des Euphrat und Tigris zeigt das Festival, wie Flüsse Zivilisationen geformt haben, die Kunst inspirieren und lebenswichtige Lebensadern für unseren Planeten sind.

The Water & Sound Festival has been attracting numerous visitors from the region to Annahof every summer for many years. With high-calibre concerts of global music, local acts and stalls of local players with delicious food and information, the festival has always been a special meeting place for the urban community to discover, celebrate and linger. The concerts at Annahof on August 1st and 2nd with music from Brazil, Spain, Morocco and Somaliland, among others, will conclude the festival week of Water & Sound 2025 (July 25th – August 2nd), which invites you to embark on a musical journey along the rivers of the world. From the mighty Amazon to the sacred Ganges, from the Danube to the sources of the Euphrates and Tigris, the festival shows how rivers have shaped civilisations, inspire the arts and are vital lifelines for our planet.
